Unfolding Practices at PARKER Contemporary offers audiences rare insight into the ideas, processes, and influences that shape contemporary print and papermaking today. Each talk creates an intimate space for collectors, peers, and the curious to encounter the art, process, and ideas of the artist that lies beneath the finished work.

PARKER Contemporary invites you to an exclusive conversation with Brisbane-based artist Dr Tim Mosely, in dialogue with Professor Emeritus Pat Hoffie AM.

Tim Mosely’s art practice contributes to the fields of print culture, artists books and haptic aesthetics. His work has been exhibited in significant survey exhibitions and is held in prominent national and international artists books collections. In his current studio practice he employs the ‘wilderness’, the autographic touch and the indexical nature of prints to investigate the role of the senses in the reception and evaluation of works of art. He also contributes to the emerging critical discourse on artists books.

This is a rare opportunity to hear directly from the artist and to take part in a conversation about process, influence, and meaning.

With limited places available, this is an event not to be missed. Bookings required.
