Unfurl Morning Walk along the Merri Merri
Event description
The 2 NECCHi neighbourhood houses are connected by the winding path of the Merri Creek. Join artists-in-residence, the Unfurl Collective, on a morning stroll and attune to the urban nature ecology and domestic gardens which edge the path.
The artists will offer poetic prompts for creative activity along the way such as drawing, sound mapping, silent meditation, movement expression and more, for a joyful collective experience. Heading off from the East Coburg Neighbourhood House, we'll ultimately arrive at Newlands Neighbourhood House filled with breath and connection and ready for sustenance from the Brewlands cafe. Everyone welcome!
Please note: this walk leaves from East Coburg Neighbourhood House and finishes at Newlands Neighbourhood House. Keep that in mind when planning your trip. Cars/bikes etc. won't be where you end up!
Places to this event are strictly limited. If you are no longer able to attend the event, please let us know by emailing programs@necchi.org so that we can pass your ticket on to another keen participant!
