You are invited to join Maria & Vesna on a quest of inner exploration to journey through the layers that bind us, that hold us back & that stop us from belonging.

When we lift the veils we each can find belonging, connection & a coming into self that allows for us to learn how to be present with ourselves & others without sacrificing who we are.

Friday 29th April

3pm - Arrival & welcome

3pm-5pm - Time to settle into your room, get to know the other participants or explore the beautiful gardens & your surroundings.

5pm – Acknowledgement of Country & opening ceremony

5.45pm–7.15pm – Yin & sound Journey

7.30pm – Light supper/grazing table (vegetarian/vegan options)

Saturday 30th April

6.15am – Gong to rise

6.30am–7.30am – Non-guided meditation & chanting (optional, feel free to join at any time)

7.45am–9am – Slow flow yoga practice

9.15am–10:15am – Breakfast in Mauna (मौनम्) (vegetarian/vegan options)

10:15am-11am – Free Time

11:00am–1pm – Inner exploration workshop

1pm-2pm – Lunch (vegetarian/vegan options)

2pm-4pm – Free Time

MEET YOUR HOSTS

Having owned a yoga studio for 8 years & completed a host of specialist trainings focused on integrating yoga as a healing modality. Maria infuses her mindful crafted yoga experiences, a wealth of knowledge, expertise & compassion from working with a vast array of trauma survivors in a social work career spanning over 22 years.

Her delightfully inventive & richly nourishing classes create a liberating sanctuary for you to safely explore the deeper layers of Self, & warmly invite you to nurture a heartfelt connection with your highest truth.

Vesna is a meditation & movement facilitator, reiki practitioner & sound alchemist. Having trained in MetaMusic under the guidance of world-renowned Hang Musician & Sound Alchmeist Laura Inserra, Vesna invites us to go beyond the cognitive limitations of the mind by using sound & the body as a portal to access the wisdom that resides deep within our inner world. Through this process Vesna aims to create environments that are safe & allow us to explore & create a world of possibility.

Vesna draws on her own journey through birth trauma with an aim to inspire and empower women to reclaim their innate wisdom & realise their true potential. Vesna loves to support women at all stages and is passionate about women's health and raising awareness around birth trauma.

COVID-19 VACCINATION STATUS

At this moment in time it is a requirement by law that you must be fully vaccinated to attend this event, vaccination certificates will be sighted on arrival.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations should be made before the 2nd March 2022 via email (unfurlretreat@gmail.com). To receive a full refund or transfer you must cancel before the 2nd March 2022, any cancellations made after the 2nd March 2022 will be charged an administrative fee to help to cover the lost opportunity for another participant to attend.

To ensure we all remain safe and well, please do not attend if you are unwell or are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms such as fever, sore throat, cough & runny nose. If you are exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms or are required to isolate due to COVID-19 & cannot attend you will be issued an option of a full refund or transfer provided that you have supplied documentation such as a medical certificate or COVID-19 PCR test attendance certificate or result. If for any reason the event is cancelled due to COVID-19 lockdown or restrictions an option of a full refund or transfer will be issued.
