✨Consider adding on a fairy picnic box, real unicorn ride or private mermaid encounter where your little one will be transformed into a mermaid during a photoshoot!

🧜‍♀️ Mermaid Portraits:

An available add on is a private Mermaid Encounter and Portrait Session. During this private 15 minute experience, each child will spend one on one time with a mermaid they discover by an enchanted river trail. With the help of the mermaid’s photographer friend they too will transform into a mermaid for a photoshoot where we will capture the magical moment in a mini portrait session. The experience includes a magical glitter makeover and a special keepsake necklace.

We encourage our participants to arrive at their session ready in their own top of choice. We will contact in advance to get sizing information about the tail they will use on the day.

🦄 Unicorn Lead Ride:

Within your 15 minute time slot take a gentle stroll upon one of our gorgeous unicorns with the help of one of the fairies. We encourage each participant to make their way to the round yard area before their riding session begins. Each child must be under 35 kilos to participate in the rides. *Please note the ride isn't for the entire 15 minutes as other riders are also booked for the same session time.

🥨Food:

Our Fairy Picnic food packs can be ordered and purchased in advance. These cute packs include sweet and savory items and a drink for 1 person.

They are vegetarian and peanut free but we cannot promise no cross contamination. We are not able to cater to allergies for this event and apologies for any inconvenience caused.

✨Location:

Unicorn & Mermaid land is nestled in the heart of the Illawarra region in the pristine valley of Calderwood. You will find us: (20 minutes inland from Shellharbour),(15 minutes drive from Jambaroo Action Park). A beautiful scenic drive (1 hour 30 minutes from Sydney's CBD).

✨Festival General Details:

There are 2 session times each day: 9am-12pm & 1pm-4pm. Tickets are limited per session and therefore bookings in advance are essential. Please do not arrive without purchasing a ticket in advance (tickets will not be available for purchase at the gate).
Everyone attending needs a ticket.
Children must be supervised at all times, by a ticket holding adult.
Babies under 1 years old may attend for free.

✨Refund Policy:

We are a collection of small businesses hoping to spread some magic in the community. Due to the nature of hosting such events, tickets are strictly non refundable. However a name change can be arranged. We would like to thank you in advance for this understanding.

🚗 Parking:

We kindly ask guests to carpool where possible to assist with car park flow.
Guests are welcome to bring their own small picnic rug, snacks and are encouraged to bring their own water but we kindly ask you take your rubbish back with you. \
Some confectionery items and drinks will be available for purchase on the day while stocks last.

👗Dress Code:

Wear whatever makes you feel happy, comfortable and magical. This is an outdoor venue. Comfortable enclosed shoes and sun safety measures are recommended. Many of our little guests wear costumes and fun outfits. We kindly ask to help avoid any confusions that adults do not wear full costumes, but accessories and sparkles are welcome.

✨Respect & Safety Waiver:

All ages are welcome to attend. This is foremostly a children’s event so please act accordingly. It is strictly an alcohol and smoke free zone.
Children must be supervised at all times. Our team all have WWCC but are performers not babysitters.
Pets are not welcome for this event with the exception of registered service animals.
This is an inclusive event, all are welcome. For those with mobility restrictions please be mindful there are some slopes in the grass paddock but our team will do their best to assist you.
Please respect the animals and our guests with sensory needs by not bringing any loud horns, firearms or whistles. It is our hope to offer a calm and kind atmosphere.
Please do not feed the unicorns, stand behind them, make loud noises or bring balloons close to them for the safety of the unicorns & guests on rides. You are welcome however to feed the mermaids, they love chocolate!
We kindly ask you do not arrive too early and leave punctually so we can prepare the space and animals for the next guests.
Upon arrival you will be greeted, allocated a parking spot, checked in and issued an event schedule, and map.

🌧 Weather Plan:

Our team may be magical, however we can’t wish away bad weather.
Please note the event will continue in rain and gentle winds however some activations will not be available or altered. Weather refunds are not available.
For the safety of all, on the chance of a canceled or postponed event due to bad weather such as storms, strong winds or a state emergency all guests will receive full credit towards the future event.
Foremostly you are responsible for your own safety and belongings. The organisers are not liable for any injury or loss incurred by attendees and are relieved of any liability claims.

📸 Photography:

Please be mindful our team and guests will be capturing lots of special moments throughout the event and images may be shared on social platforms or websites.
Wristbands can be collected upon check in for those who are not comfortable with their picture or video being shared so we can do our best to avoid this.
