Unique Bee Experience

This two-hour experience offers a safe and unique insight into the world of honeybees.

You will:

• suit up in professional beekeeping gear

• light a smoker

• observe bees and their colourful pollen baskets

• explore honeycomb

• discover the different roles within a colony

• taste a selection of honey

• search for the queen, eggs and larvae

• lift frames covered in live bees, honey and brood

• feel the buzz of hundreds of bees through your gloves

• capture photos and videos.

If weather prevents us opening the hive, I may cancel the experience or adapt to provide honeybee related information and/or activities.
