Get ready to attend Orientation! Stay informed and kick off your studies on the right foot!
You are pre-registering a Law Program Information Session held at the City West campus on Tuesday 20th of February.
Although you will pre-register for this event through Humanitix, you will be scanned in using your student ID card or through the UniSA App (be sure to download it before Orientation).
PRE-REGISTRATION IS ESSENTIAL DUE TO ROOM CAPACITIES.

You will be provided with a coloured wristband on the day, and don’t worry, student volunteers will help you find your way! Excitement and nerves are all part of Orientation – we can’t wait to welcome you to campus!

What will be covered during your Orientation Day
> Starting Strong in Law: Skills Sessions 1 & 2
----- Required knowledge for first year Law students! -----
- Meet your Program Director
- Learn more about your program and the support available to you
- Meet your lecturers and tutors and:
- Learn how to prepare for your first class, including how to approach reading lists and note taking
- Experience what it's like to work with others in Law tutorials
- Hear from past students about how to make the most of your teachers and peers
- Work through some key Law concepts so you can hit the ground running in Week 1
> Campus Tour
- You will be taken on a tour of the City West campus led by Academic Staff
> Booths on Hindley Street
- Make sure to visit the variety of booths relating to your study on Hindley Street!
- Be sure to connect with the USASA and UniSA Sport booths to see what else is on offer outside the classroom
- Additional activities and games will also be available on Hindley Street for you to socialise with your peers
> Lunch
- You will receive a $10 lunch voucher at registration for you to use at the on-campus vendors on the day, or you can use it during your first few weeks of study – at any of our metro campuses!

What to bring on the day?
- Please bring a drink bottle with you, so you can fill it up throughout the day
- Wear comfortable clothing and footwear
- Be sun safe – bring sunglasses, wear a hat and wear sunscreen
- Snacks – because who doesn’t like having some extra snacks on hand!
