Universal Design for Learning: A Framework for Inclusive Excellence at UWA
Event description
This facilitated panel discussion will explore the transformative potential of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) in enhancing student engagement, accessibility, and academic success at UWA. UDL is a research-based framework that guides the design of learning environments to accommodate the diverse needs of all learners. It promotes flexibility in how information is presented, how students demonstrate knowledge, and how they stay motivated—benefiting not only students with disability, mental health challenges, and additional learning needs, but the entire student cohort. PRESENTED BY Gabriela Di Perna and Raymond Rutgers, Senior Advisers, Student Support Uni Access.
