University House Courtyard and Garden Tour

This event is open to Members of University House and their guests, UoM staff and Alumni.

Join us for a guided tour of our own Garden and Courtyard with University of Melbourne Grounds Curator and Arborist Virginia McNally.

Virginia has been an arborist/horticulturalist at the Parkville campus of The University of Melbourne for more than 30 years and is now Curator of the System Garden. She did most of her studies at the Burnley Campus of The University of Melbourne, is an active member of the BGANZ (Botanical Gardens of Australia and New Zealand) organisation, and is currently on the National Trust of Victoria's Significant Tree Committee.

Virginia will show us the hidden, special, and significant plants and trees in our Garden and Courtyards, followed by lunch in the Courtyard (weather permitting!).
