🌿 You’re Invited: Student Gardening Working Bee & Wellbeing Garden Tour! 🌸

When: Wednesday 6th August @ 10:00am
Where: Kaurna Learning Circle (next to Barr Smith Lawns), University of Adelaide, North Terrace campus
Who: All students welcome – no gardening experience needed!

Join us for a relaxed and meaningful afternoon designed to build community, support local pollinators, and explore the mental health benefits of gardening.

🪴 What’s Happening:
We’ll kick off the event with a guided tour of the Botanic Gardens (10am-11am), where you’ll discover the incredible plants that promote physical and mental well-being – from calming herbs to uplifting blooms.

Then, roll up your sleeves for our Gardening Working Bee (11am-12pm):
🌸 Help plant a pollinator-friendly garden
🌱 Learn simple gardening skills
🤝 Connect with fellow students
🧠 Explore how nature and gardening support mental health
🌼 Make a positive impact on campus and the environment

Tools, Gloves, Sunscreen, and good vibes provided!
Just bring a water bottle, hat, and a willingness to get your hands a little dirty.

Let’s grow something great together – for ourselves, our community, and the bees!

NOTE: Please register for tickets to both the Botanic Gardens Tour and the Working Bee, if you are hoping to attend both.
