University of Colorado Anschutz Health Sciences Building tour

Join AIA Colorado members for tour of the University of Colorado Anschutz Health Sciences Building, a 2023 AIA Colorado Design Award of Merit recipient.

Designed by Anderson Mason Dale and ZGF Architects and completed in 2022, the Anschutz Health Sciences Building furthers the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus’s trajectory as one of the leading medical care, translational research, and educational facilities in the world.

Academic, research, clinical care, and auxiliary functions are integrated into one building within a dedicated campus research zone, eliminating campus silos in favor of collaboration, achieved through a central atrium that connects building users and functions. Both the interior and exterior of the building prioritize the integration of biophilia, maximizing connections to natural light and views while regulating a sustainable, efficient building microclimate.
