This year, our annual MBA Ball is an official fundraiser for Beyond Blue. We have chosen this charity because raising awareness of mental health issues is an integral part of leadership and fostering an inclusive work culture.
As leaders, we are proud to help Beyond Blue in its mission to improve mental health and prevent suicide across Australia. Thank you for your support!

Who is speaking?
We have just announced, Phon Hansana, Head of Specialist Solutions Architecture, Asia Pacific & Japan at Amazon Web Services. Phon is the head of the Specialist Solution Architecture function at Amazon Web Services for the Asia Pacific and Japan region based out of Sydney, Australia. Phon has been at AWS for 6 years and his team is responsible for providing specialist technical resources and enablement for customers and AWS employees. Phon is also the APJ sponsor for Early Career technical talent and also an Amazon Digital Innovation Champion helping customers innovate like Amazon across APJ. He has over 20 years of experience in technology leadership, business development, professional services, solutions architecture and pre-sales. Prior to joining AWS, Phon worked at a senior level across the APJ region with Citrix Systems and Microsoft Alliance partners where he was key in many large Enterprise and Government technology initiatives for these organisations. Phon, has acquired both Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Computer Science and Technology (BCST) degrees from the University of Sydney.

Can I sit with people I know?
Absolutely! We will have cocktail-style seating with a mix of different seating options spread throughout the venue. Due to feedback from the last event, we will not have a formal seating chart to give everyone ample opportunity to mingle.
What is the dinner and drinks package?
Guests will receive unlimited food and drink at no extra cost. Drinks consist of a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Roaming canapes will be served throughout the event. This will be a substantial amount of food and will replace a formal seated dinner.
Where do the proceeds go?
Proceeds will go towards supporting the initiatives of the leading mental health support and advocacy organisation, Beyond Blue.
