Ann Green and Luke Perone

University life can be stressful and lonely. You might have high expectations for yourself and feel pressure from others. The competition to succeed can be overwhelming. Making meaningful connections with peers, as well as with professors, can be challenging. You may have additional life responsibilities like family or work. In today's world, you might be questioning the value of a university degree, or you may be conflicted about your academic choices. So many factors can lead to increased stress and anxiety, to depression, to avoiding classes, to procrastinating, to becoming socially isolated, and, for a growing number, to dropping out.

Ann Green and Luke Perone bring their combined expertise as University Life Development Coaches and mentors to help you with these and other struggles you may be facing. You don’t have to go through it alone. Come and share your experiences, gain insights, and develop strategies for personal growth and for navigating your academic life.

Ann is a Life Development Coach and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who specializes in helping university students navigate the complexities of university life in today’s complex world. With over 35 years of experience in mental health and personal growth, Ann provides compassionate support and practical tools for addressing stress and anxiety, building resilience, and helping students struggling academically and emotionally.  She helps students overcome obstacles, determine their goals, and develop strategies to achieve them.

Luke has been creating adult development and learning in higher education for nearly 35 years as a(n) undergraduate student, adult and family literacy educator, teacher educator, program manager, graduate student, and faculty member. He is also an associate of The East Side Institute and a long-standing builder of its international performance movement. He has been studying and practicing social therapeutics for more than 10 years and in 2024 became a social therapeutic coach.
