Session 4 (10+ yrs): Unleash Creativity – Central Craft’s Winter School Holiday Program

🎨 Session 4: Tuesday 1st July | 1.30pm –3:00pm | ⏳ 1.5 hrs | For 10+ years
Join us this school holidays for a playful, hands-on workshop series for children and young people, led by local artist Nina Annand. Through storytelling, art-making and collaboration, participants will create textile costumes and paper sculptures inspired by the animals, plants and seasonal rhythms of Arrernte Country in winter.
🖼️ Exhibition | 5–9 July: At the end of the series, all artworks will be showcased in the June Marriott Gallery in a special mini exhibition open to friends, family and the wider community!
Whether you're a budding young artist or trying something creative for the first time, these workshops are open, inclusive and full of wonder.
This program is proudly supported by the Northern Territory Government through the 2024/25 Alice Springs Youth Activity Grant – Unleash Creativity.

Collaborative art-making guided by a local artist
Sessions tailored to age groups: 5–9 yrs and 10+ yrs
A final exhibition to celebrate the children’s work, Saturday 5th – Wednesday 9th July (June Marriott Gallery)

All materials are provided.
📍 Location:
All workshops will take place at Central Craft Studios, Alice Springs.
Please check in at the Central Craft shop on arrival, or use the Studio entrance if you have a FOB key.
♿ Access:
Children and young people who require assistance due to disability are welcome to attend with a support worker or carer, free of charge.
