Ready to explore your future and build confidence for the world of work?

Join the Youth Disability Advocacy Network (YDAN) UNLEASHED Team. Who are holding a free four-part workshop series designed to support young people with disability to build practical skills, knowledge and confidence around employment.

These workshops are relevant for any young person aged 15-25 no matter the type of disability, if your a first time job seeker or if you have worked before but have challenges finding/maintaining accessible employment that allows you to thrive these workshops are for you. The workshops are completely free, you do not need to be on NDIS, or a disability support pension and we require no medical evidence for you to attend and participate.

Across four interactive sessions, participants will explore their goals and strengths, learn more about the world of employment, develop their résumé, and build confidence around interviews, what happens after interviews and workplace disclosure all designed and facilitated through lived/living experience lens will focus on disability affirming concepts and experiences.

Please fill out the booking link if you can so we can know how best to support you throughout the workshops, it is not a requirement to attend all four but they are connected, participating in all four will give you the best experience.

Designed for young people with disability aged 15–25, these workshops provide a supportive space to learn, ask questions, develop practical employment skills and prepare for the next steps in your working life in ways that are most accessible, safe and relevant for you.

Presented by the Youth Disability Advocacy Network (YDAN) in partnership with the Town of Victoria Park, and hosted at Victoria Park Community Centre.
