Event description

As purpose-driven businesses, we care about work culture and the wellbeing and fulfilment our people. We want to equip our teams with the tools and skills they need to thrive, fostering a positive work culture and healthy workplace. Recognising that in today's demanding work environment stress and anxiety can significantly impact performance, are you offering your team the adequate development opportunities that enable them to navigate challenges effectively and cultivate greater resilience?  Do you need new ways to support your people?

So what do Positive Intelligence (PQ) and mental fitness have to do with effectiveness, productivity and navigating challenges? Most fundamentally, people perform at their best when they are mentally fit, clear-headed and focussed. But when challenges arise, often times behaviour and thinking patterns emerge that lead to stress, anxiety or conflict, which can get in the way of effective communication and action. This is where mental fitness, defined as one's capacity to respond to life’s challenges with positive rather than negative mindset, comes in.

This interactive workshop introduces Positive Intelligence (PQ), a mental fitness framework designed to build resilience, collaboration, and connection within teams. Participants will explore the neuroscience behind workplace challenges and how developing mental fitness can positively impact our working life. Participants will learn to manage their inner critics or 'Saboteurs,' build self-awareness and cultivate a more positive mindset. The workshop also provides an overview of a 7-week PQ program for teams in organisations that further develops these skills, ultimately leading to happier, healthier, and more engaged teams, which can have positive ripple effects throughout a business and beyond.

As Shawn Achor, author of The Happiness Advantage, states, "Happiness is not the belief that we don’t have problems, it’s the ability to face problems." PQ and Mental Fitness is a powerful tool in the workplace to elevate any team's performance.

Note: Participants will need to complete the Positive Intelligence Saboteur Assessment in preparation for the workshop: https://assessment.positiveint.... Consider attending with one or more team members from your business to enhance the experience.
