MEET YOUR BREATH & FEET

Event description

This is not yoga. But if you're a yoga lover, you will enhance your practice.

This is not meditation. But if you meditate, you'll deepen your mindfulness.

This is not just exercise. But if you're an athlete, you'll elevate your performance.

We breathe approximately 22,000 times a day. Each breath informs our behavior and choices, and vice versa. This immersive program couple covers the fundamentals of breathing well, mindset, why fitness alone doesn't make us good breathers, when up-regulation practices are safe, and how to harness the power of down-regulation breathing.

And how to do it all! Breath-work is not one size fits all and not everything all the time.

Then your dear feet. Haven't they been through the ringer. Ankle sprains and jammed into shoes. We are not here to convert you into barefoot shoes or out of your high heels, but to reintroduce what's lost and reconnect your feet to your body. By rediscovering the true function and potential of your feet, you can unlock a greater understanding of movement, balance, and strength throughout your entire body.

However, consider this program an investment in your well-being. By dedicating just half a day, you'll learn techniques that can save you hours of stress, pain and fatigue in the long run. It's about working smarter, not harder.

"Breathwork sounds too simple to be effective."
It's natural to be skeptical of something that seems so straightforward. But breathwork is backed by solid science and has profound effects on our nervous system, stress levels, and overall health. Sometimes, the simplest solutions are the most powerful. Give it a try, and you might be surprised by how such a fundamental practice can create significant positive changes.

"I'm not into yoga or meditation; will this be relevant to me?"
Great question! This program is designed to be practical and accessible, regardless of your background or interests. Breathwork is not about yoga or meditation—though it can enhance both—but about giving you tools to manage stress, improve sleep, and boost performance. Whether you're an athlete, a busy professional, or just someone looking to improve your well-being, this program is highly relevant.

"I'm already too stressed; I don't need more to think about."
I hear you. When you're stressed, the last thing you want is another item on your to-do list. But think of this program as a way to lighten your load. The techniques you'll learn are designed to help you manage stress more effectively, so you feel less overwhelmed and more in control. It’s about creating space for calm and clarity in your life.

"I've tried similar things before and didn't see much benefit."
I appreciate your honesty. It's frustrating when you invest time and don't see results. What sets this program apart is its comprehensive approach, combining the mechanics of breathing with practical applications for daily life, stress management, and performance enhancement. Plus, I'm here to support you and address any concerns to ensure you get the most out of this experience.

From Stressed to Strong or shifting the dial on your performance.

"How do I get involved":
Each session is sold separately or together as a bundle.

What We Cover:

This day will be information-packed and not for the faint-hearted. You are focused, ready to make changes, and have burning questions to answer. Here's what we'll cover in the immersive half-day to help you discover the power of your breath and feet:

Reclaim your Calm & Focus with potential of your breath:

Sept 7th - 10am - 12noon

Do you find yourself constantly stressed or out of breath? Are you struggling with issues like chronic tension, anxiety, or poor sleep that persist despite conventional relaxation techniques? This program will teach you how to assess your own breathing patterns and make informed decisions about your respiratory health. On average, we breathe approximately 22,000 times a day, and many of us unknowingly hyperventilate, which can exacerbate stress and lead to a host of health problems, including decreased oxygen delivery to tissues and increased anxiety.

  • Master the Mechanics of Breathing: Learn movements to optimize your breathing, allowing for a more expansive breath.
  • Psychology & Solutions to Slowing Down: Disrupt patterns that have been holding you back by understanding the physiology of your story.
  • Stress Management and Burnout Prevention: Discover down-regulation techniques to manage stress effectively and prevent burnout, leading to better sleep and overall health.

Reclaim the Potential of Your Feet:

Oct 5th - 10am - 12noon

Do you have painful feet? Are you struggling with lower leg issues that persist despite conventional treatments or orthotics? This program will teach you how to assess your own feet and make informed decisions about their needs. You'll gain the insights to work with your feet, improve their function, and restore necessary movement patterns that can lead to long-term physical changes throughout your entire body. This foundational approach is crucial because, as they say, it's where the rubber hits the road—your amazing feet.

  • Assessing Your Feet and Posture: Learn how to evaluate your own feet and understand their relationship with your total posture. Identify what your feet need to support your overall alignment and well-being.
  • Reintroducing Pronation for Healthy Knee Mechanics: Understand the importance of pronation and how it contributes to knee health. Discover the role it plays in distributing forces and maintaining proper alignment.
  • Re-centering Ankle Sprains: Even if you've undergone rehabilitation and returned to sports, unresolved issues from past ankle sprains can still impact your movement. We'll focus on regaining full ankle mobility and function.
  • Supination Mechanics for Healthy Hamstrings: Explore how proper supination mechanics can support healthy hamstrings and contribute to overall lower body strength and stability.
  • Identifying What's Missing and Bringing It Back: Highlight the missing elements in your foot mechanics and learn actionable steps to restore natural movement patterns. Gain the knowledge to work towards regaining your natural foot function.
