About this event:

House of PMO Comes to Auckland!
The House of PMO and PMI are delighted to be jointly hosting the first PMO Flashmob in Auckland!
Join us for a landmark occasion as House of PMO arrives in Auckland, bringing our signature blend of insight, inspiration, and community spirit to New Zealand’s largest city for the very first time!
The session will be led by Eileen J Roden who will introduce the PMO Competency Framework – the first of its kind, developed by PMO professionals, for PMO professionals. Whether you’re running a PMO, working within one, or thinking about the next step in your career, this session is your opportunity to learn how the framework can help shape capability development for individuals, teams, and entire organisations.
In this session, we’ll explore:
Why and how the PMO Competency Framework was created – and the challenges it addresses.
How it works – including the four core PMO roles, domains of competence, and proficiency levels.
How to use it – for personal development, team upskilling, recruitment, performance reviews, and more.
What’s next – how the framework is being adopted in the UK and globally, and how you can use it in your organisation.
Expect a relaxed, interactive session with time to connect with fellow PMO professionals in the region – and to be part of building the PMO community in New Zealand.
Whether you're new to PMO or a seasoned leader, this is your chance to gain insight, ask questions, and leave with practical ideas to take back to your workplace.
