Join TasICT and ACS members for an engaging session showcasing how traineeships can help grow your workforce, support emerging talent, and build a stronger ICT sector in Tasmania.

This special industry event will be held at the state-of-the-art Cyber Innovation Training Hub at TasTAFE's Campbell Street Campus in Hobart, giving you the opportunity to explore the facility where Tasmania’s next generation of cyber and ICT professionals are being trained.

What to Expect:

• Tour the Cyber Hub and see firsthand how trainees are learning in a modern, technology-rich environment.

• Hear from the TasTAFE ICT Education Manager about how the Certificate IV in Cyber Security, and other ICT courses are being delivered, and the benefits of employing a trainee.

• Hear about the TasTAFE Cyber Security Industry Experts Pilot Program and how local cyber-security industry experts have volunteered to engage with TasTAFE staff and learners through presentations, Q&A sessions, mentoring and co-delivery to create meaningful engagement between industry and learners.

• Gain insights from the Skills Tasmania Apprenticeships & Traineeships team on how the system works, including employer incentives and supports.

• Learn how a Group Training Organisation can simplify the process of recruiting and managing trainees by employing them directly and placing them within your business.

• Hear from the Apprentice Connect Australia Providers, your first point of contact. Their services making the process easier for your business from start to finish.

• Be inspired by a local ICT employer who has successfully integrated trainees into their team.
