WHAT IS “UNSPOKEN”?

UNSPOKEN is a grassroots social movement and early-intervention mental health initiative where the deep and meaningful collide with everyday fun and celebration.

The premise is simple - sharing our stories honestly with one another (and seeing others role model this) decreases our shame and disconnection and increases our understanding and compassion (for ourselves and for one another).

At UNSPOKEN we create celebratory experiences and safe spaces in the community where we can be our true self, be inspired by others and be a stand for the type of open-hearted change we wish to see in the world.

WHO IS THIS EXPERIENCE FOR?

UNSPOKEN events are for forward-thinking community leaders, wellbeing professionals and business owners who value personal growth and helping others thrive.

You‘ve likely experienced your own mental health challenges or know someone who has - and would love to be at the forefront of innovation and social change in this area.

WHEN, WHERE, WHAT ELSE?!

When: Saturday 8 July, 2023, 5pm until late

Where: Dusty Hill Winery, Moffatdale Queensland

Food: Entree and Cocktail Style Dinner provided included in your ticket.

Drinks: Bar available for non-alcoholic and alcoholic drink purchases.

Dress: Smart Casual

Tickets: Tickets range from $75AUD-$399AUD.

TRANSPORT & ACCOMODATION OPTIONS:

There is plenty of parking available for those who are driving to the event.

There is also a BUS departing (approx 4pm) from Kingaroy and Nanango to drop guests to the event which will depart the venue approximately 11.30pm to return guests home to Kingaroy and Nanango.

For those who wish to stay nearby for the night there are a few options:

1. Upgrade to a VIP Accomodation Ticket to secure overnight accomodation in a quaint country cabin in a nearby venue (Yallakool Caravan Park). Limited Spots Available.

2. Check out the camping available next door at Hidden Gold Homestead or nearby at Yallakool Caravan Park (3km away from venue)

3. Check out the rooms at Joes Grand Hotel (23km away)

4. Choose a hotel or B&B in Nanango (48kms away) or Kingaroy (54km away) >>> and make sure you book a Bus Ticket (available as an add on to your ticket purchase) which will get you to and from Nanango/Kingaroy on the evening of the event.

THE SNAPSHOT: Unspoken was birthed during 2020/21 inspired by the concept “Think Global, Act Local”. Founder, Tessa Alexa Stanford retuned to her small country home town (Nanango, Queensland, Australia) and decided to address our global mental wellbeing problem on a local level - right in her backyard. Unspoken began as “Unspoken Community Events” yet with the overwhelming feedback and vastness of the mission, Unspoken was swiftly rebranded to Unspoken Global.

WHAT’S NEXT: With an Australian Tour underway from September 2023, new team members, and a global platform in progress to help people become the courageous story-teller of their own life... we are both well under way and only just getting started. The support we have received at our events so far (from our guests, speakers and sponsors) have been so appreciated and we simply cannot wait to share this experience with others all around Australia and the world.
