UNSW MTS Presents: Little Miss Sunshine
Description
Event Description:
UNSW MTS is proud to present LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE.
Watch as the Hoover family push their beat-up, bright yellow VW van from Albuquerque, New Mexico all the way to Redondo Beach, California! The youngest member of the Hoover Family, Olive, has qualified for the Little Miss Sunshine pageant, and now the whole family must put aside their differences to survive this impromptu road-trip. With a score by William Finn (Falsettos, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee) and book by James Lapine (Sunday in the Park with George, Into the Woods, Falsettos), this musical is a witty, heartfelt, and complex exploration what it means to be an outsider in a family full of outsiders.
A famous movie but a little-known musical, start your engines and make your way to this limited run from the 20th of October to the 24th of October at Studio One, UNSW!
