UNSW SCISOC Presents: Survivor Camp 2023

CAST AWAY! UNSW Science Society is back with another orientation camp for 2023!

Do you dare set sail to SURVIVE 3 days TRAPPED on an ISLAND, 2 nights of TROUBLESOME fun? Step into the boat as you travel to unknown territory with strangers who you'll grow close to over the coming treacherous days, pack filled with challenges that will get you ready for the night. 

Tiring activities, undisputable fun, new friends and memories to get you ready for university life and become a SURVIVOR. 

So, if you are looking to start the uni year off in the right direction, meeting and making meaningful connections with the cohort you’ll be on this incredible uni journey with, travelling with UNSW SCISOC: SURVIVOR ORIENTATION CAMP is the place to be!

Due to high demand, tickets will be sold in TWO online releases, with a link posted on the day:
PRESALE: 8th February 2023 - 8:00 PM
GENERAL RELEASE: 10th February 2023 - 8:00 PM

TICKETING INFORMATION
** A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $50 will be paid through the Humanitix link. This deposit will secure your position for camp.
** The Humanitix deposit does NOT include the Humanitix ticket fee. This is a separate cost. i.e. Deposit = $50 + Humanitix ticket fee
** The remaining balance must be transferred by 11PM ON THE NIGHT the deposit is made. Details and instructions on how to pay this remaining balance will be included in the confirmation email of your Humanitix deposit.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
** There will be a COMPULSORY COVID-19 Disclaimer Form, Camp Waiver and Gender Misconduct Modules that all attendees must complete.

COVID-19 DISCLAIMER:
** All attendees must have negative PCR results done and ready to show the Organising Team before boarding buses. The PCR test must be done within 3 days of boarding buses.
** Campees without negative PCR results will not be let onto the buses.
**Any campees showing COVID-19 symptoms during camp will be RAT tested and will need to isolat

REFUNDS

• You are eligible for a refund if:
• Camp is cancelled due to health and safety regulations
• You test positive for COVID-19
• You're considered a close contact under NSW Health's definition
• You display symptoms and notify mailto:hello@unswscisoc.org within 72 hours of camp i.e. Tuesday, 1st March 6pm
• No other refunds will be accepted unless for a valid reason

  The possibility of this event occurring is highly dependent on the state of COVID-19 in NSW and will be in direct alignment with the government restrictions. In accordance with these circumstances, SCISOC will be running the camp at a lower capacity and is working closely with the campsite to best provide a COVID-safe environment.
