Nick Hottmann was born and raised in Michigan and has lived in Texas before moving to Pocatello in 2018. A graphic designer by trade, Nick’s fine arts have grown into his full time job. Murals, paintings, stickers, custom hats and shoes have become what Nick is known for in the area. He is a full time designer, muralist, painter, and apparel designer.
After attending art school in Detroit, Nick’s passion for large artwork grew and murals began to be a new challenge. Nick’s work has been displayed in Michigan, Texas, and Idaho. His work is whimsy pop art that is a little cheeky. “There’s something for everyone”
Nick has murals in Pocatello, Boise, American Falls, Idaho Falls and Blackfoot. Kick has now grown into a national artist with Murals and Artwork in Michigan, Alabama, Ohio, Texas and Utah. You can follow Nick on Instagram and Facebook @nickhottmannart
A brief description of the class
I’ll be showing guests how to paint their own custom hats.
I’ll have white and black hats they can have to create their own design on. I’ll be teaching proper taping off methods, color application onto a dark or light hat, and how to make images look accurate on curved surfaces.
