    Event description

Ever wonder what it takes to build real wealth?

Come join us for an in-depth conversation on money, finances, and how to build your financial future on 1 June at Wright Hall, ANU in Canberra.

This event aims to continue the conversation from this year's International Women's Day theme of Invest in women: Accelerate progress. Investing in women is a human rights imperative and cornerstone for building inclusive societies. Progress for women benefits us all.

The United Nations (UN) Women Canberra Chapter has invited three local financial experts to share their knowledge and wisdom to help you define and achieve your financial goals.

    Introducing Our Speakers:

    • Sarah Hardie, Finance Advisor with Isla & Gray Financial Advice

Sarah is a multi-talented finance professional and entrepreneur, supporting First Home Buyers, women who have recently separated, and business owners. She is passionate about helping people access the right finance to achieve both business and personal goals.

Brigitta is passionate about improving women’s financial literacy, which led her to co-organise a Female Finance Empowerment event in Canberra, sharing useful tips & traps around superannuation, savings and retirement, with the ultimate goal of helping attendees be more confident with money & superannuation. She has also been a panel speaker at the Canberra Women in Business “Financially Fearless” event.

    • Natasha Janssens, Financial Advisor, Certified Money Coach, and Founder of Women with Cents

Natasha is the author of Wonder Woman’s Guide to Money and an award-winning finance expert. After arriving in Australia as an 18-year-old refugee without her family, Natasha learned firsthand the complexities of navigating the Australian financial system and the challenges faced by Australian women. With no knowledge or support network of her own, she set out to learn everything she could, and in the process become a qualified accountant, financial advisor, mortgage broker and Certified Money Coach.
