Hey, it's me, LJ! Welcome to Unwritten!

I'm very excited to announce that I'm collaborating with the very cool, brand new Martini Bar in Sydney - Dry Martini in Chippendale.

Recently opened in a trendy Sydney laneway, this bar is dedicated to all things martini. Dry Martini by Grant Collins and Gin Lane celebrates the evolution of the eponymous drink, ranging from vintage recipes from the 1920s and 1930s, to new twists on the espresso martini and everything in between.

HOW IT WORKS:

A few days before the event, I'll send you an email with the Unwritten questionnaire. This will ask you what you're looking for in a partner, your values in life, your deal-breakers etc.

Wednesday 4th December:

6pm: Arrive around now to a welcome drink for a 6.30pm start. (don't worry if you're coming solo, lots of others will and everyone is really friendly and welcoming)

6.30pm: The Martini/Espresso Martini Class begins. The Dry Martini team will start by showing you how to create the perfect Classic Martini & Espresso Martini. This will be followed by you taking the reigns with other singles and making 3 x cocktails - a Mini Classic Martini, Espresso Martini and Southside. Their will be several rotations throughout the evening, so you'll get to meet and chat to all singles of the opposite sex.

Simple snacks will also be provided and the evening will conclude with a competition (a prize from Dry Martini is up for grabs!)

8pm: Once the class is complete, I'll then reveal your official 'Unwritten Match.' This comes from your questionnaire that you previously completed, my match-making AI technology, a little magic and lots of intuition. You may have already guessed your match for the night or perhaps it's someone you never expected.

Happy Hour will then commence where it's time to chat to your match and mingle.

It'll going to be a lot of fun, full of interesting people, good conversation and incredible cocktail-making skills, I'm sure! And you never know, you might even feel some chemistry, something you definitely don't get through an app. I hope you do!
