Join the upcycling/fix it revolution happening across the Mid North Coast and learn some basic bookbinding skills.  

This workshop is delivered by Bellingen Shire CouncilMidWaste

Monique is a traditional bookbinder who has enjoyed creative bookbinding since completing her apprenticeship in the 90s. A special interest of hers is repurposing discarded books, paper and ephemera for sweet little ‘bookish’ objects. Come along to the Sustainable Bookbinding workshop with Monique, learn some key bookbinding terms and traditional skills as you deconstruct, reassemble and hand-bind a cute journal to embellish and alter when you get it home.

What to bring:

This workshop will be held indoors, but please ensure you wear appropriate clothing and shoes. Help up to keep this event low waste and BYO reusable water bottle. You may like to bring a notebook for jotting down ideas!
