Event description

Fancy a walk along beautiful Darebin Creek while listening to reflect on original songs and poems? Then come along to Up the Creek we Sing, a guided musical stroll through Darebin Parklands,

Facilitated by local artist, educator and counsellor Luke Edwards. Slow down as we wind along the trail, pausing to reconnect to our spirit, the beauty of our surroundings and the presence of one another.

We will meet at the Miners Gate, Darebin Parklands, which is a short walk from the entrance to Darebin Parklands via Smith Street, Alphington). See map.

Our finishing point is The Gleeson Room, close to the Miners Gate; the beginning point of the walk.

  • Hat

  • pen and journal

  • sturdy shoes

Luke is a counsellor, educator and facilitator. He runs his own practice called The Healing Tide. His songs and poems express themes related to spirituality, trauma and being human. You can discover some of his work here.
