Upcycled Art Workshop: Repurposing Books

Join us for a bit of fun and creativity, making cool stuff out of old books!

This Week’s Project: Book Spine Bookmarks. Cut out interesting portions of book spines and attach them to ribbon or yardstick to make distinctive bookmarks.

Jessica Colón, founder of For the People and Kids, will bring the supplies. You bring the imagination. This workshop is open to kids ages 5 to 10 - with their grown-ups. If you sign up in advance, a suggested donation of $12 for the first child, $8 per sibling afterward, is appreciated. If purchased upon arrival, the price will be $15 for the first child, $10 for each child thereafter.
