Upcycled Denim Apron| PORT MACQUARIE
Event description
Bring in some old jeans or denim pieces and design yourself a Work Apron for Art or Wood. If you are interested in gardening, design an apron to hold the necessary tools. It can be totally made with denim and include the pockets, zipper and seams from the jeans. You may prefer to use other fabric to upcycle your apron into a Food or Kitchen Apron. An old men's shirt makes into a great apron.
Join Mary and learn to sew a hem, curves, straps and position a pocket. In no time, you will have sustainably upcycled the old to new!
No experience necessary but feel free to bring your own machine if you have one or use one of ours!
Registration is free but essential.
You are registering for a 2 session course. First session on 5th October, Second Session on 19th October from 6-8pm
