    In this workshop, The ReCreators will teach you various painting techniques that can be used for upcycling furniture or other décor at home. Reusing wooden offcuts we will practice the following techniques:

    • White wash effect
    • Shabby chic effect
    • Layered colours
    • Dot Art
    • Staining

    Also, learn how to make 1 litre chalk paint for less than $10 and where to get zero waste discounted paint. This class is suited for adults and is not suited for young children. 

    Note: Wear old clothing that may get paint on it and closed-toe shoes.

    When: Tuesday 27 February, 12.30 pm - 2.30 pm

    Where: Onehunga Library, 85 Church Street, Onehunga, Auckland 1061

    * Please note children are not able to attend with parents due to health and safety requirements. 

    The Re-Creators are on a mission to teach New Zealand how to upcycle, reduce, and reuse our resources, to share skills in reimagining 'waste' as creative opportunities! It's not only creative and sustainable but also easy and fun too!
