    Event description

Join WMRC for an upcycling workshop using rescued wedding dresses!

    Attendees will:

    • Learn key skills to upcycle rescued items.
    • Change their perspective on unwanted textiles.
    • Be inspired to make their next event low-waste with stylish upcycled decorations.
    • Take home their very own low-waste, reusable party and Christmas decorations including festive garlands, tulle pom-poms and ornaments!

All materials, including wedding dresses, will be provided. Attendees also have the option to bring their own wedding dress to upcycle.

This is a great workshop for people passionate about sustainability and looking for new ways to upcycle unwanted or unneeded textile items.
Beginners are welcome, this workshop is suitable for those aged 12+

The wedding dresses used in this workshop have been donated by Vinnies WA Op Shops as they are damaged and unsellable. Reusing the wedding dresses will save them from landfill.
