Upcycled Succulent Plant Pots and Gardening, Glen Innes Library, Saturday 22 April 1pm - 3pm
Event description
Proudly brought to you by Maungakiekie-Tāmaki Local Board and Creative Communities!
In this workshop you will learn how to make paper clay plant pots, reusing second-hand plant pots as a base, and then you will plant the pots with beautiful succulents or other propagated plants.
Making paper clay plant pots is a fun and creative activity that allows you to experiment with different textures and designs.
You will also learn about the lifecycle of plants, composting and propagation, which is a great way to develop your understanding of the natural world. And you will find out about paper and why it is so important to try and reuse it.
This is a great opportunity to learn some new skills and get creative, all while doing your bit for the environment.
When: Saturday 22 April, 1pm - 3pm
Where: Glen Innes Library, 108 Line Road, Glen Innes, Auckland 1072
Note: Wear old clothing that may get paint on it and closed-toe shoes.
