Course description: This is a live online update session for NAPLAN coordinators from NSW schools, to ensure their knowledge is up-to-date and they have the skills to support the successful delivery of NAPLAN. Attendance is recommended for NAPLAN coordinators who have attended training in previous years and need an update/refresher.

This course will cover:

· information on user roles and responsibilities

· refresher training on the features and functions of the Online National Assessment Platform (the platform)

· preparation and delivery of NAPLAN

· what’s new for NAPLAN.

Duration: 1 hour

Before the session:

· Ensure your device has access to the internet and Microsoft Teams and audio is working.

· Access the training and support materials available for download from Schools Online.

What should I bring to the session?

It is recommended you bring a copy of the following documents, which will be referenced throughout the session:

· NAPLAN handbook for principals and NAPLAN coordinators

· NAPLAN quick reference guide – NAPLAN coordinator.

Also bring something to flag important pages, such as post it notes and a pen.

How do I join the session?

This session will be delivered via Microsoft Teams. The Microsoft Teams link will be sent as a calendar invite and included in a reminder email. You can join the session by selecting the link.

During the session:

Participants are encouraged to take notes on another screen or a notepad.

IMPORTANT: Recording of sessions is prohibited; this includes AI assistants. Any participants who commence an unauthorised recording will be removed from the session.
