The Upstate Trio is a funky, energetic, and talented jam band that originated in Gloversville, New York in 2003. Having cut their teeth and honed their considerable musical chops in the upstate area, they brought their sound westward in 2008, making their new home in Eugene, Oregon. Comprised of guitarist Jay Waylett, bassist Justin Alric, and drummer Matt Veeder the Upstate Trio is a veritable feast for the ears. Incorporating elements of rock, funk, reggae, blues, and jazz in their music in live performances, they seamlessly bob and weave through sets that include rousing, provocative originals as well as covers ranging from rocking Phish, Zeppelin, and Talking Heads tunes to intimate jazz standards, with the fluidity and precision of a Swiss watch. The Rosebud is an intimate venue located in the heart of historic downtown Roseburg, featuring local, regional, and national live music and comedy performances. Our main floor features a full bar and a selection of unique non-alcoholic options. We offer an instant-Ramen bar, and you are welcome to bring your outside to-go food into the venue to enjoy. Seating is first-come-first-serve on the main floor. Our mezzanine offers three prime viewing options available as reserved tickets, with a full view of the stage. The remainder of our mezzanine seating is first-come-first-serve. We do not have a private parking lot, but there is street parking directly around the venue, and parking enforcement ends at 5pm Monday - Saturday. There is no parking enforcement on Sundays. We hope you join us for show, and help keep live music and performance thriving!
