'Upward' Film Premiere - Asheville

We are thrilled to announce the Asheville Premiere of the film, Upward.  In October of 2022, Reid Woolsey embarked on an incredible mission: to shatter a world record and hit an astonishing 500,000 vertical feet in one month as part of a trail running challenge, “Max Vert October”. This documentary recalls his solitary trek through challenging terrain, inner demons, hallucinations, and his triumphant ascent to an almost superhuman achievement. Directed by independent filmmaker, Cassidy Eames, this is a story of overcoming shadows, and celebrates the healing power of community.

Join us on Sunday December 10 at the solarium rooftop of The Restoration Asheville Hotel. Enjoy breathtaking views during our sunset social hour starting at 4:30, with a bar available in the solarium. The 40 minute film will display at 6pm, followed by a Q&A. 

After the show, it's time to boogie and celebrate! Festivities continue til 10pm, where you can dance to your heart's content with live music and great company. Whether you're feeling classy or casual, wear what makes you comfortable and ready for a fantastic time.  See you there!
