UQCS Hackathon 2023
Event description
Get ready for UQCS's biggest event of the year: Hackathon! Bring your ideas, teammates and coding passion to hack it out over the weekend. This year we will have many free meals over the course of the weekend and the ability to stay overnight at UQ (TBC) so that you can code deep into the night uninterrupted.
The aim of the hackathon is to build something within the weekend. We have seen games, websites, desktop applications, hardware and robots, but you are free to make anything that you can think of (a showcase of past projects can be seen here). All years and levels are experience are welcome, whether you are a curious newcomer or a seasoned hacker. If you've never been to a hackathon before, we will also be hosting a talk on Thursday before hackathon for some tips and tricks. Also, don't worry if you don't have a team formed beforehand; we will help connect you with other students or find teams that are missing important roles.
