Ikebana is the traditional Japanese art of arranging flowers, leaves, branches, and any plant materials to give them a new life. This time, UQJX is bringing you the unique opportunity to attend an introductory Ikebana class! We have invited Ms Chieko Klerx, an instructor of Ikebana Sogetsu.

Ikebana Sogetsu is one of the many schools of Ikebana. What differs Sogetsu from other schools is the belief that every arrangement reflects the personality of its creator.

Discover the history and philosophy behind this beautiful art form, and create your very own Ikebana piece to take home! 💐

🌸 生け花で花に命を🌸

生け花とは、枝や葉や花などを器に生けて、新たな生命を吹く込む日本の伝統芸術です。今回UQJXはその一流派である草月流生け花の師範であるChieko Klerx先生をお招きし、初心者向けのクラスを開催します！

華道には様々な流派がありますが、草月流の特徴は、いけ手の個性を自由に表現できるところです。

このクラスでは生け花の歴史や花型を学びながら、一人一つの生け花を作りそのまま家にお持ち帰りできます！💐
