Using LEGO Serious Play in a virtual world

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Do you have some LEGO laying around at home, but can't make it into town? Are you looking for a new way to connect with your remote teams? Join us for an online experiment in using LEGO Serious Play remotely

PLEASE NOTE: You will need to provide your own LEGO for this session! Borrow some from the kids or use it as an excuse to visit the toyshop - a small "classic" box should suffice, though a mini-figure or two would be a good addition.

Your presenters Rupert and Sam have been using the methodology for over a year in their design team and externally at community events and meetups.

This is the forth in a week of LSP sessions. We'll be doing a more detailed look at the methodology in our two hour Friday session: Introduction to LEGO Serious Play for Research and Design

LEGO Serious Play is a methodology for running engaging meetings and workshops. It helps with understanding of connections & relationships and has a wide range of applications such as planning, retrospectives and team building. It’s been used by the likes of NASA, UNESCO and Google and locally by Trade Me, IR and ACC. This will be a hands-on workshop, giving you a practical experience whilst you learn the theory.

Who is this for?

Anyone looking for a new technique to add to their tool-kit.
