Using PR and Strategic Communications to Support Effective Advocacy
Event description
Got a burning question on your organisation’s effective messaging?
Whether you're a non-profit CEO, advocate, Select Committee submitter, or working in comms or marketing — if you're in the sector and want your message to land, this is for you. Bring your questions and let’s explore what it takes to communicate with real impact.
This CNA hosted WebEvent looks at more practical information – tips and advice – about how to use PR and strategic communications to support organisational projects and issues. We’re very fortunate to have Daniel Paul of the PR Company to look at the basic ‘rules’ of developing and running both a PR campaign and an advocacy campaign. Daniel is a Fellow of the Public Relations Institute of NZ and the Strategic Director at The PR Company. He is a vastly experienced public relations and advocacy campaigner.
What’s the difference between spin doctoring and positioning your organisation? Strategy vs campaign? Another conversation begun by others and focused on you – what is your burning question? Bring your coffee, your questions, and get ready to make smarter messaging moves.
If you have questions you'd like to submit prior to the discussion, contact Patrick Davies, CNA Engagement Officer, at info@communitynetworksaotearoa.org.nz.
