Grab your friends.. or frienemies and join in the biggest capture the flag event USYD has ever seen!

When: Tuesday 2nd August (during Welcome Fest), 12pm - 2pm

Where: Rego at the Quad

Schedule
12:00pm: Event Registration & Check - in (At the Quad) - if you have pre-registered please arrive by 12:40pm
12:45pm: Game Briefing; distribution of Maps & game equipment, run through of rules, and team intros and bonding session
1:00pm: Game Begins; Hiding flags & making Jails
1:15pm: Full game begins! (if you need to go to class thats ok)
2:30pm: Debrief, pictures, & returning of equipment to the Quad

Rules
1. Participants divided into teams of 15-20.
2. Within the teams they must select an offence team and defence team.
The offence team will enter other teams zones in an attempt to steal their flags, while the defence team will protect and defend their own flag without giving away it’s location!
3. If members of the offence team get caught while in another teams zone, they can be put in jail. To be rescued they must have another team member tag them out of jail, however, they are not safe until they return back to their zone!
4. The team with the most flags at the end wins! (Note: These flags must be in the teams zone to count!)

TEAMS, GROUPING & REGISTRATION:
Participants will be able to register online through this link, you can nominate other friends you would like to be in a group together with.

Each member of the group will need to register (either through the link or on the day)

Groups will be 15-20 in size, its ok if you dont have a group sorted, we will group you on the day.

SAFETY & SUPERVISION:
A member of the USUs team will be present supervising the game, and acting as Umpire for the entirety of the event.
Rules and regulations will be outlined at the beginning to all teams so they are clear of the rules regarding safety and supervision.

Please remember to stay within the designated game area as this is set up for your and other students safety.
