Explore Sydney and make new friends this semester with USU's fortnightly Day Trips!

Join us as we journey through Sydney's iconic Royal Botanic Gardens with our friendly tour guide, who'll share the history and stories of the gardens 🌳🌼

You'll get the opportunity to learn more about Australia's unique flora and fauna, while enjoying the breathtaking views of the harbour that the Botanic Gardens has to offer!

The trip will begin at the steps of Royal Botanic Gardens stairs along Macquarie Street at 12:15pm. This is located across the road from 141 Macquarie Street, Sydney.

What is USU Day Trips?

USU Day Trips is an event series for USYD international and domestic students to make new friends and explore all the best parts of Sydney. In semester 2, we're running fortnightly Day Trips to various highlights, from a guided tour of Chinatown to a private movie screening at HOYTS.

Who can join Day Trips?

Day Trips are open to all USU Members. If you aren’t a member yet, make sure you sign up today so you can come along and enjoy all the fun. The best part is, it's free for all USYD students! Sign up for USU membership here.

What are the Covid-19 safety requirements?

Day Trips attendees are required to follow all of the University's Covid Safety Precautions, any Covid Safety requirements issued by the NSW Health and those of venues visited during the trip. This may include but are not limited to wearing masks on public transport and checking in via the Health QR.

All attendees must follow the Royal Botanic Garden's terms of entry here.

What if I don’t receive my confirmation email?
