USU Day Trips: Powerhouse Museum
Explore Sydney and make friends this semester break with USU's weekly Day Trips!
Come along to our next trip as we enjoy lunch followed by a tour at Powerhouse Museum 💡📷
Powerhouse is Australia's contemporary home to a breadth of exhibits across history, technology, design, music, space, transport and more.
On this trip, you will meet a museum curator who will guide you through the Transport Collection, sharing insights and stories behind some of history's biggest developments in transportation. Afterwards, travel through time and explore the other wonders and gems the museum holds!
The trip will begin with lunch at Courtyard Restaurant & Bar at 11am (plus a free drink for USU Rewards Members). From there, we'll travel together to the Powerhouse Museum for the tour.

What is USU Day Trips?
USU Day Trips is an event series for USYD international and domestic students to make new friends and explore all the best parts of Sydney. This semester break, we're running weekly Day Trips to various highlights Sydney has to offer, from a guided tour of the Sydney Opera House to a bike tour around the city.

Who can join Day Trips?
Day Trips are open to all USU Members. If you aren’t a member yet, make sure you sign up today so you can come along and enjoy all the fun. The best part is, it's free for all USYD students! Sign up for USU membership here.
What are the Covid-19 safety requirements?
Day Trips attendees are required to follow all of the University's Covid Safety Precautions, any Covid Safety requirements issued by the NSW Health and those of venues visited during the trip. This may include but are not limited to wearing masks on public transport and checking in via the Health QR.
