Utopia - Yoga & Sound Healing for Charity

Event description

Utopia –

After the success of the first Utopia event Bronnie from Asiha Flow Yoga & Ash from Akuna Flow are joining up again to do another Yoga & Sound Healing event for charity.

All proceeds from this event will be donated to a nominated charity.

This event will be a combined yoga and sound healing event.

We may not be able to make the world perfect but we can make it a better place to live

Yoga is a practice that connects the body, breath and mind. It uses physical postures, breathing exercises, and meditation to improve overall health. Yoga was developed as a spiritual practice thousands of years ago.

Sound healing is an ancient meditative practice that uses different musical implements to create healing vibrations around the body in a meditative state which help bring the body into a state of vibrational balance and harmony
So, how does it work? During a sound healing session, also known as a sound bath, you'll typically lie down on the floor or a yoga mat, and simply listen as a practitioner plays a variety of instruments and you "bathe" in the soothing sounds and vibrations. The sound frequencies slow down brain waves to a deeply restorative state, which activates the body's system of self-healing.

What to expect –

Bron will start you with some breathwork leading into a gentle flowing yoga class to move the body before settling and relaxing into shavansana for a sound healing journey w/ Ashley
