Event description

2024 Copyright Agency x UTSWriter in Residence Vivian Pham is a Vietnamese-Australian novelist, essayist and poet from southwestern Sydney.

Her debut novel, The Coconut Children, was published to critical acclaim by Penguin Random House in 2020. During her residency in the Writing department at the UTS Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, she has been working on her second novel Owl Without Winter.

Join us for her final lecture as she explores the intersections between nature and culture in the context of a shift towards sustainable futures, and what it means to write dystopian fiction in a dystopian reality.

This event is part of the UTS FASStival 2024 program.
