UTS Global Goals Month Opening

You are cordially invited to a morning tea to celebrate the official opening of Global Goals Month at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS).

UTS Global Goals Month celebrates our engagement with and contribution to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). A shared worldwide commitment across government, community and academia to accelerate action on the SDGs. Join us as we celebrate our achievements at the 'half-way' point of the UN 2030 Agenda.

You will learn more about the month's planned events and activities such as presentations by UTS academics and staff. These presentations highlight the practical and research efforts of the university towards achieving its goals.

The opening will start with a brief welcome and discussion on the importance of awareness of the goals and development of practical solutions to help achieve the outcome. This will be followed by morning tea and refreshments, so please bring along your reusable coffee cups, as disposable cups will not be provided.

This event will be held in the Global Goals Month exhibition space in the Level 4 Foyer of the UTS Tower Building. For the entirety of September, this exhibition and activation space will hold interactive activities and thought-provoking information. 

Global Goals Month is presented by UTS Sustainability in conjunction with programs, initiatives, and student clubs from across the university.
