Event description

The UTS LSS Maddocks Social Justice Conference 2022 will allow students to explore this paradox within our legal and political system. This year’s theme is Unheard Voices - exploring the voices of groups typically silenced, marginalised or unsupported by our legal system. Our two panels will focus on Homelessness and Detainees and ex-detainees. The conference will bring together lawyers, academics and NGOs to discuss how the law and policy affect these unheard voices, and the role we can all play to better support these groups. 

All ticket proceeds will be donated to Sydney Homeless Shelters.
