From the acclaimed Palestinian filmmaker Elia Suleiman, The Time That Remains is a semi-autobiographical black comedy that captures the surrealism of daily life under occupation. Spanning decades, this intergenerational epic explores the absurdities of displacement, the quiet rebellion of love, and the enduring resilience of Palestinian identity — all told with Suleiman’s signature wit, silence, and satire.
