UTS Tech Festival 2023 - Drones 101 Workshop
Event description
UTS Tech Festival is back in 2023, bigger and better!
Hosted by the Faculty of Engineering and IT, Tech Festival brings current and prospective UTS students, academics and industry together to foster learning, inspiration, share ideas and promote innovation! You won't want to miss this two-week festival of events, showcases, hackathons, workshops and seminars!
Drones 101 Workshop
Note: this event has combined the MathWorks Mini Drone Competition.
As we can see, flying a drone is simple if you let technology do all of the work. Even yet, knowing the fundamentals of flying is more exciting than simply watching a drone be controlled by a remote controller. The UTS Intelligent Drone Lab (iDL) presents the intelligent drone 101 workshop, which will cover the following topics:
- What is the technology behind drones and how do they work?
- Drone or UAV's working principles, components, and applications
- What are the fundamental regulations for piloting a drone and what are the drone flying regulations in Australia?
- Drones with artificial intelligence - How artificial intelligence may be used to control drones to fly independently.
- See Autonomous drones in action
- Opportunity to join intelligent Drone Lab and work with more drones as well as gain skills!
So, be ready to fly your intelligently trained drone.
