UTS Tech Festival is back in 2023, bigger and better!
Hosted by the Faculty of Engineering and IT, Tech Festival brings current and prospective UTS students, academics and industry together to foster learning, inspiration, share ideas and promote innovation! You won't want to miss this two-week festival of events, showcases, hackathons, workshops and seminars!
iOS Hackathon
The iOS Hackathon has returned for Tech Festival 2023! This year's theme is AI, so gear up to explore the world of Machine Learning with your iOS design and development skills!
Join us for an action-packed day of collaboration, creativity, and learning. With the guidance of industry experts from Bilue, UTS and an Australian startup, you'll have the chance to unleash your inner innovator and bring your ideas to life through iOS - starting from scratch and building from the ground up.
The 2023 iOS Student Hackathon is the perfect opportunity to meet like-minded students, expand your skillset and create connections with industry. With no grades or job expectations, this event promises to be an engaging and enjoyable experience for all involved.
Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to showcase your talents and explore the possibilities of Machine Learning on iOS. Certificates and Prizes will be given to the top performing teams for the day. We can't wait to see you there!

You will be asked to confirm your place prior to the event.
Registration does not guarantee a place as space is limited.

Where: CB11.03.300 (Apple Foundation Room)
Time: 9:00am - 7:00pm
Who's invited: This event is for UTS students from any faculty. Students will be asked to confirm attendance as spots are limited. If you want to join with your friends, we recommend teams of no more than 5 people
What to bring: MacBook with Xcode & Microsoft teams installed. If you require a MacBook on the day, let us know when you register and one will be provided for you to use
Prior knowledge: All backgrounds and skills levels encouraged
A light lunch (midday) and dinner (5pm) will be provided at this event.
