    UTS Tech Festival is back in 2023, bigger and better!

    Hosted by the Faculty of Engineering and IT, Tech Festival brings current and prospective UTS students, academics and industry together to foster learning, inspiration, share ideas and promote innovation!​ You won't want to miss this two-week festival of events, showcases, hackathons, workshops and seminars!


    WXSTEM Lego Competition

    Take part in the Lego Competition hosted by the WXSTEM society. Contestants will build challenging, tech related objects chosen from a generator (eg robot, computer) within a specified time limit. 

    There will be four rounds, with each competition lasting 20-35 minutes. This competition will be played in small groups of 2-3 people. 

    Prizes will be awarded to the most unique creations! Please note, prizes will be awarded to to UTS Students only. 


    What is WXSTEM?

    WXSTEM is a UTS student society that promotes community focused support by enabling equitable experiences for women and non-binary (NB) people in STEM. The society hopes to benefit the greater UTS community by connecting women and NB people with those that share similar experiences and/or those that actively support their success within STEM at UTS and in the broader community.     Who is invited: This event is for primary school students, high school students, UTS students or students from another university.

    Catering will be provided.
