UTS Tech Festival is back in 2023, bigger and better!
Hosted by the Faculty of Engineering and IT, Tech Festival brings current and prospective UTS students, academics and industry together to foster learning, inspiration, share ideas and promote innovation! You won't want to miss this two-week festival of events, showcases, hackathons, workshops and seminars!
Prototype Showcase
Join us for the Prototype Showcase, where we celebrate the exceptional work of our talented students within the Interaction Design discipline, housed in the prestigious School of Computer Science in the Faculty of Engineering and IT.
This eagerly awaited annual event features a carefully curated selection of the best student prototypes from all project-based subjects in our faculty, including interactive media applications, physical prototypes, and IOS app designs led by our Apple Foundation Program mentors.
Our top-rated projects are chosen from renowned subjects, such as:
- Interactive Media
- Fundamentals of Interaction Design
- Apple Foundation Program
- Digital Experience Design Studio
- Interaction Design Studio
- Prototyping Physical Interaction
The Showcase provides a unique opportunity to engage with our top students and view their impressive creations in a relaxed and welcoming setting. Discover over 30 exceptional prototypes, each one demonstrating the incredible skills and expertise of our students.
Attendees have the chance to vote for the people's choice award, which culminates in an exciting awards ceremony where we recognise the most outstanding work with prizes and accolades. Don't miss this chance to be inspired and impressed by our talented students.
